    Yes, that is the hotel and yes it was a famous and very posh hotel. I know because my grandmother stayed there for a prolonged stay around 1925. She loved it and continued to go there through the years. Where did you find that correspondence letter and the post card? I am curious to know. Warm regards, Saskia

      Hi Marijke,
      Thanks for the information. The envelope and the letter were part of Julia Grace Wales’s archives at the Library and Archives Canada. She was a Canadian scholar and peace activist who travelled to The Hague in 1915 to attend the International Congress of Women.
